I am delighted to be appearing at the Edinburgh International Book Festival in conversation with Blake Morrison and John Niven.
In an event titled Brothers and Sister, we will be discussing their powerful new memoirs about siblings, secrets, addiction and grief.
Two Sisters by Blake Morrison tells the story of his sister and half-sister and their struggles with family secrets and addiction.
Oh Brother by John Niven is a blackly comic story about his brother and the impact of suicide on a family.
The event is on Wednesday 23 August at 1.30pm in the Baillie Gifford Sculpture Court, Edinburgh College of Art, Lauriston Place, Edinburgh.
Tickets £15.50 [£13.50/10.50] from the Edinburgh International Book Festival for the in-person event. You can also join online.
